Caelun has decided he wants to sell cut flowers at our farm stand and at the farmer’s markets. We had a planning conversation about what annual flowers he wants to grow and sell. He has decided for sure on: gladiolas, dahlias, zinnias, gerbera daisies, and today he added sunflowers. He was looking up the best sunflowers to grow for cut flowers so we can order seed. He will also have the perennials we have as they come in season including but not limited to: lily of the valley, lilacs, roses, and iris. He will also have the various wild flowers that grow in the back fallow field. What are some other annual flowers you would love to be able to buy for fresh flowers? Let us know in the comments. We are making a trip to our local mill on Friday afternoon to buy some seeds.
