We have dozens of heirloom varieties and hundreds of tomato plants sprouted, getting ready to come to your garden and table this spring to summer. This is Pam and I have been growing tomatoes, picking tomatoes, eating tomatoes, and preserving food with tomatoes for all of my 50+ years on this piece of dirt my family has for generations called “The Farm”. In coming posts I will be telling you about some of my favorite tomatoes with pictures and descriptions from what has become known among our family and friends as: The Tomato Diaries. Each of these tomatoes can be preordered as plants to grow in your garden this spring. You can also peruse our catalogue for all the varieties as well as vegetables and annual flowers that are not tomatoes.

Along the way, I’ll share the history of our family farm, what we’ve grown over the years, and how my husband Clint, our son Caelun, and our dogs Baxter and Effie are all contributing to life here. Of course, Baxter and Effie are simply living their best doggy lives.

But first the tomatoes ….
